Halloween

Halloween with daddy. The last couple of years I have had to go by myself. It was nice to have Scott with us even if it did rain. When we got home I weighed Wm. and the candy for a grand total of 7.5 pounds of candy between the three of them. Hopefully in a couple days I can get rid of the candy and we can be over the sugar high and lows.

Lulu jumping for joy

Ariel or the mermaid depending on the moment you ask.

Boba Fett!

Jango Fett

No, I really don't know the difference. I only know it is offensive to call them storm troopers.

I love seeing the boys faces smashed against the mask. This was our first year with mask/helmet and hopefully the las. Scott and I ended up carrying them because the were bugging the boys. Ariel with the pose to get her noticed.

I love Halloween of Friday. Less pressure to get home and get the kids in bed at a reasonable time.

Crazy Hair Day!

This week is Red Ribbon Week and yesterday was Crazy Hair Day. The boys were both excited to have crazy hair but not to crazy. Luckily I found some good spray that shows up on dark hair. Lulu was scared I was going to spray green in her hair. Instead I gave her dancing hair.

That is supposed to be a "W".

Hard to tell from the picture but he was very proud of his green hair. Last night he "shampooed twice" just to make sure he got out all the green.

Kindergarten Field Trip.

For Wm. first field trip I went with his class, all four Kindergarten classes, to a corn maze, pumpkin patch, other activity place. The put all the kids on one bus and I was one of the lucky parents ride.

Her is Wesley jumping on an air filled jump thing (great description?)

Wesley with a little girl from his class, to bad the sun is right in their eyes. A common theme in all the pictures from that day.

That is his teacher. Yes, she is old enough to teach. She is so good with the kids unless I am there and then my child gets a little crazy.

Right before lunch we had to go pick a pumpkin for each of the kids. Since there were four there was no way I could carry all of them. I was excited to have their little mouths full for a few minutes to contain the pleas for help. Wow that really makes me sound like a mean momma.

October?

This is what we woke up to on Sunday morning. See the grey sky above the trees? That is where the mountains are supposed to be. By the time we got home from church the five inches had quickly melted off. The best part was our heater quit working. Good thing we have a fireplace and an oven.

Playing in the Rain

Grandma sent new rain coats and umbrellas. Saturday was the perfect day to try them out. It was a little chilly so it didn't last long.

Dancerella!

Lulu started dancing and this is her before her lessons. She did so great last week and had a complete meltdown this week? Who knows why but she pulled it together just in time for skipping and princess walking. They also started learning their dance "Baby take a Bow". So cute.

Do you like her moves?

Lu was very cooperative and let me go all out with her hair.

Train Museum!

As a final effort to be "fun" parents during the summer we took the kids to the train museum with their cousins.

Lulu's favorite place, on the phone!

What?

Lulu giving her best Vanna White impression.

What a nice big brother.

E with his cousin working hard.

E's favorite car. It was hard to chose just one.

ALL aboard!

Wm. loves the muscle shirt. All summer he requested to wear one of his three shirts. Thank you Grandpa Rick!

There was also an old car museum. This shows Wm. showing off his sweet moves.

Can you see those bulging biceps. He is one strong five year old.

No that summer is over I have no obligation to be fun! Right?
