The Captains Family (and mine)

This is all the adults I will try to put one up with everyone but for some reason the picture with all the kids won't post?

We had some family pictures taken the same day ET was baptized. So, these were done in December. It seems like a miracle to have us all together at once so we take advantage of it.

Egg Hunt

ET searching by the house

Wow Wm. found one, he found a lot but this one must have had coins in it.

Lu kept leaving her basket and running back and forth. She realized once her basket got full she wasn't able to run and keep the eggs from falling out.

Daddy teasing the boys.

Diaper bum

"the sun is in our eyes mom"

Three happy kids

Looking at the loot

We spent Easter in Idaho on "the farm" with the captains parents and super cute grandma. The kids had a blast. On Saturday we did an Easter egg hunt. They are getting old enough I will have to be a better hider.

Lulu is an artist.

On Tuesday I was scrubbing down the kitchen and bathroom, in preparation for a meeting held at my house. Lulu got really quiet and next thing I know...this. If you study the picture you can see she she drew a picture of a pig, at least that is what I seee. Can you see it? I have been scrubbing and scrubbing. Now I have to buy some more magic erasers to try to get the rest off. Silence is not always a good thing. That wasn't even the worst part of the week! Crazy little lady.

A Market Basket, that's what you search for on google or on sites like surlatable. I must begin by admitting I don't actually have one of these but I am going to get one, sometime. They have been back ordered and now comes color choices. A gal a church has one and I love it. She and I both bring rolls and etc. to church each Sunday and my current bag is overflowing so I thought it would be great. Another idea, for next winter maybe, put all your kids hats and gloves in one and when you are walking out the door to the sledding hill stick it the car. Use is to collect items you need to take on your errands to keep things from sliding off your car seat and if you are really green you can put purchase in this instead of the evil plastic bag. Last suggestion, use it for a picnic basket. I am leaning toward one of the fl orals but still a little unsure. LOVE IT!

Sesame Street - Doin' The Pigeon(full version)

The Pigeon

I love this video. It makes me think of my good, Kirsten, friends little brother. He is a crazy awesome interior designer in New York and I thought others would enjoy a look at this delightful video. When we were in high school, Kirsten and I, he came up to me and said "I have pigeons" ever since I can't think of a pigeon without thinking of him.

Sometimes mom does know best

Last night the boys were supposed to be in bed and they were being a little noisy but I was giving them a little leeway because the time change is hard on all of us. When the screaming started I knew it was worse than expected. Wm. came out holding his face, he is a little dramatic when it comes to injury. ET was crying and yelling "i am sorry, i am so sorry, i am so sorry, i'm sorry" it starts to loose its effectiveness. Anyway, Wm. moves his hand and BLOOD. He has already hurt his lip at the park and required some blood clean up but this was worse than I expected. My friend's husband does search and rescue, which means he is a trained EMT, and since it was getting late I made a rash decision to call them and look at it to make sure he wouldn't need stitches. Of course once the blood cleared it look much better and I am hopeful there isn't any shards of Walmart trailer plastic left in the wound. Poor kid. Luckily some genius came up with glow in the dark Sponge Bob Square Pants band-aids and life is better with Sponge Bob? I mean if you are five.

These picture also beg the question to wax or to shave? You know the eyebrows. I am never sure the best method for keeping the mono brow from growing back faster and thicker. I know it bad that he is only five but kids are already telling him he has a mono brow, besides I have been trimming those bad boys for years and i just need to know what is best shave or wax? What a cute boy, what I wouldn't do for a set of eyelashes like those.
